WORK EXPERIENCE

Offbeat Magazine,  photography and writing intern

Worked in the magazine office writing articles, music reviews and other arts related content. Assisted senior writers with big stories.  Interviewed musicians, researched and made calls to cull information for in-depth features.  Trained in Word Press interface and SEO.  Archived articles from old print issues for the web.  Worked as an event photographer for concerts, festivals, parades, etc., and made galleries of about 20-30 photos per event. 

New Orleans Jazz Museum, photography intern

Photographed jazz concerts and events, worked with the social media director to make compelling imagery for the museum 

Angela King Gallery, Art Consultant 

Assisted in hanging shows, wrote copy for events, communicated art history to clients, grew, updated, and maintained the gallery social media presence, and sold artwork.
